Glock model 78 tactical knife
One notable thing about this model: the polymer pommel isn't meant to be used as a hammer. Don't pound anything with it, as it will get damaged. On the other hand, even if it was broken, the flaw would only be cosmetic. It can also be levered out, revealing a hole which enables the knife to be turned into a spear.
Factory new, manufactured by Glock in Austria
The Glock name needs no introduction. Their knives are made like their guns and carry an outstanding reputation. This survival knife is a perfect addition to any tool kit, field pack, or belt. Developed in close cooperation with Austrian Army Rangers, the no-nonsense GLOCK 78 knife features a tough 6 1/2 inch phosphate treated, carbon/spring steel blade with an HRC 55 rating. These knives come new and unpackaged.
The Glock 78 Field Knife sports a spring steel blade with a Rockwell Hardness of 50-55 and a black non-reflective coating. The cross bar protects the hand against injuries and can be used as a thumb rest or a convenient bottle opener. Featuring a slip-resistant polymer handle, includes a Kydex sheath and is perfectly balanced for throwing. The Glock 78 was discontinued but lives on in the hearts and minds of those that enjoy a well built knife.
